The festival
The Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema (FICA) is an annual festival held in Vesoul, in eastern France, dedicated to cinema from across the Asian continent. It was created in 1995 by Martine and Jean-Marc Therouanne, making it the oldest festival of Asian cinema in Europe.

The festival covers a wide geographic range, from West and Central Asia to East and Southeast Asia, and its top prize is the Golden Cyclo Award. It is typically held over a week in late January or February.
